Drain Installation & Repair in Orlando

The Leading Septic Specialists in Central Florida

Your home or building's drain is one of the most vital components of your plumbing system. While most people are concerned with where their water comes from (wells, fixtures, and water lines), people should be equally invested in how their water leaves. Different drainage systems address different needs, but Brownie's can address them all.

Call us anytime to help you install your new system or repair your current one.

Since 1948, Brownie's Septic & Plumbing has been the choice for septic and drainage system services. For homes and businesses that rely on septic tanks to hold their wastewater and sewage, regular pumping, cleaning, and maintenance of the drain system is vital to keep your property healthy. A broken drain system can lead to serious health issues and even worse issues for your property if water damage occurs. If your drain needs to be replaced or repairs, our Orlando plumbers can help!

We are some of the most experienced plumbers in Central Florida, allowing us to provide fast and effective solutions 24/7. Call (407) 890-0116 or contact us online for more information.

The Components of a Working Drainage System

Whether you have a sewer or septic system, your home's interior drain system will rely on gravity, traps, and vents to function correctly. The basic way a drain works is this: waste and water will travel downward from the fixture, enter a "trap" (an s-curved pipe that's usually visible under the fixture), and travel toward the building's main sewer line. The trap's purpose is to force water to stay in the pipe that keeps sewer gases from re-entering your home.

While waste heads down toward your septic tank, gases travel upward through a fixture vent or a vent at the top of the main sewer line. The vents keep the air pressure neutral in the drain system essentially, it keeps air pressure from clogging the waste and leaving it in your home's plumbing. If any of these components are broken or malfunctioning for any reason-drain, trap, or vent-then your drain system will stop functioning.
